Maternity and Bonding Leave for Union Employees (Birth Parents) Weeks Weeks 1 8 STD Amount/MA PFML 8 weeks of STD at 75% < 7 years of service (medical leave under STD) 8 weeks of STD at 100% > 7 years of service Weeks 9 12 First 4 weeks of bonding leave under MA PFML pay is same as STD Program. (bonding leave under MA PFML) 4 weeks at 75% < 7 Years of service - Employees may supplement with PTO (vacation or personal time) to be paid at 100% 4 weeks at 100% if > 7 years of service Weeks 13 20 Additional 8 weeks of bonding leave under MA PFML - The weekly wage replacement benefit calculated using the formula provided by the MAPFML Law - not to exceed $1,084.31 per week. (bonding leave under MA PFML)

Bonding Leave for Union Employees (Non-Birth Parents) Weeks MA PFML Amount Week 1 Waiting period (unpaid or PTO) Weeks 4 weeks at 75% if < 7 Years of service 2-5 Employees may supplement with PTO (vacation or personal time) to be paid at 100% 4 weeks at 100% if > 7 years of service Weeks The weekly wage replacement benefit that is calculated using the formula provided by the MAPFML Law - not to exceed $1,084.31 per week 6-12
