6 month rotation In acute med. Some trainees placed in respiratory or cardiology Medical SHO on-call. Receive referrals. Opportunities for practical procedures LP, drains etc Day job Start portfolio sign offs early Clinic opportunities Multidisciplinary team PAs, Nurse pracs etc
Usually have a daily consultant ward round Weekly Acute medicine directorate teaching Weekly medical meeting IMT teaching weekly (Thursdays in GUH) Teaching Clinics
