What are Fees? How are they Calculated? The Exchequer Free Fees Scheme The Higher Education Authority can pay the tuition element of the fees on behalf of a student to the University Students who meet the criteria for the Exchequer Free Fees Scheme (FFS) will qualify for "Free Tuition Fees". More Information can be found on the Fees Office web page https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/student-fees-grants Please note that during the registration process, the Full Academic Year Fee Liability will appear i.e tuition fee + student contribution fee + student levy. Please pay the fee that is relevant to your own registration. The Exchequer Free Tuition Fees are uploaded onto all Undergraduate accounts post registration of all University students which is usually early November
The Exchequer Free Fees Scheme - Note International students Students who previously attended a third level course students who previously retired from an Undergraduate course are advised to contact the Fees & Grants Office directly to discuss their fee liability.
Important Fee Deadlines Important Fee Deadlines International Fees must be paid in full prior to registration. EU Fees can be paid in two installments The First Fee Installment is due as part of the registration process. The Second installment is due on or before the 31stof January of the given Academic Year
SUSI / Grant Funding For information on a SUSI Grant for both Undergraduate & Postgraduate students, please refer to the SUSI website at www.susi.ie SUSI does not cover the Student Levy Fee. All students are liable to pay the Student Levy Fee in each academic year Please note that the University does not have any input into a students' SUSI assessment, a SUSI assessment is strictly between the student and SUSI Confirmation of Registration to SUSI -the confirmation of registration file is returned to SUSI by the University Student Records & Registration Office, https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/records/contact
Easy Payment Arrangement EU Students having difficulty in paying Fees are advised to contact The Fees & Grants Office directly where advice will be provided on submitting an Easy Payment plan for assessment to the Fees & Grants Office. This Scheme can be tailored to the individual need of the student. It allows a student to spread the cost of tuition over a period within the Academic year.
