  2. LINKAGE GROUP What is a LINKAGE Group?:- A collection of Representatives of PPN Member Groups/Organisations with interest in specific policy areas. It s enables the PPN to input into policy at a countywide level. CARMICHAEL

  3. ROLE OF LINKAGE GROUP Thematic Groups or Cross Cutting Issue based Bring together PPN members with a common interest providing a collective voice . Pathway for members to have real input into policy, further their areas of interest or work to influence change in this area. Linkages groups support PPN Representatives on Committees of Mayo CC and other bodies Linkage groups discuss and debate matters being discussed by the Committee to inform the Representative(s) inputs at committee meetings. Where relevant linkage groups help prioritise and develop policy positions. CARMICHAEL

  4. JOINING A LINKAGE GROUP Any PPN Member can join a Linkage Group Linkage Groups are aligned to SPC S, Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) etc CARMICHAEL

  5. GOVERNING & REPRESENTATION All PPN Representatives shall report to and take direction from respective Linkage Groups. All views and contributions by the PPN Representative(s) shall be in line with guidance/decisions/mandate from the group. CARMICHAEL
