MEDLARS Its mean ( Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System ) Definition :Is considered to be the first major operational system . It was developed by the national library of medicine ( NLM ) started by trained and qualified indexers in order to assign subject heading list (Mesh).
Subject coverage :Medicine including : Dentistry Nursing Psychiatry Physiology Psychology Pharmacology And all related areas of medicine
Literature coverage : More than 5000 journal titles in several languages in many countries cover references in an index medics
