HLC Five Criteria (2020-2025)can be Met, Met with Concerns, or Not Met
From report Michigan State University has ably demonstrated that it is a mission-driven, student-centered, research strong, andcommunity engaged institution with no issues to suggest that any of the Criteria are not being met.
From report The Team believes that with growing stability in senior leadership - a highly respected new President, a strong team of deans, searches for vice presidents, including Provost, and deans that have interim status - and a strong academicfoundation - research, teaching and learning, and external engagement - on which to build, all anchored on a solid mission and important Strategic Plan, MSU is entering a new phase in its history, at an important stage of highereducation landscape nationally. Given its national stature, MSU can help define what a modern land grantinstitution can be - for itself and externally.
