Dress Code Dress Code Dobbins Middle School
DRESS CODE Any clothing that exposes the waist, navel, abdomen, midsection, torso, back, chest, or other areas considered private is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to crop tops, midriff tops, low-cut tops, or shirts cut off at the sides.
Dress Code Any item that depicts images that are lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene, or advertises alcoholic beverages, drugs, or other substances is strictly prohibited. Any clothing and accessories that could be considered costume wear are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to collars, headbands depicting animal-like characteristics, tails, capes, or trench coats.
DRESS CODE Any clothing with straps that are less than 2 inches wide is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to sleeveless tops, tank tops, or muscle shirts. Arm holes must be tight fitting Clothing that reveals undergarments is strictly prohibited. Shirts need to cover these garments ensuring the garment is not visible in the front or back of student.
DRESS CODE Sleepwear (pajamas/slippers) is strictly prohibited. NO BLANKETS NO STUFFED ANIMALS
DRESS CODE All shorts, skirts, and dresses must be mid-thigh in length or longer. No biker shorts or legging shorts are not permitted to be worn alone. These can be worn under jeans or an appropriate length skirt or dress
Dress Code Hoodie jackets or sweatshirts are allowed, but hoods must remain down while in the building.
DRESS CODE DRESS CODE NO head coverings, hats, or hoods may be worn inside the building. This includes, but is not limited to, caps, hats, hoods, bandanas, wave caps, sweatbands, sunglasses, or any other head covering. No combs, rakes, curlers, or picks can be worn in the hair. Hat Day will be on designated Fridays for $1. Paid students will receive a sticker that should be attached to the hat.
Dress Code All pants, shorts, and skirts must be worn at the waist or upper hip and must not have holes or frays that expose skin above the mid- thigh. Under garments should not be exposed
Dress Code Yoga pants, leggings, jeggings, or similar clothing are not permitted to be worn alone A top that fully covers the posterior and reaches the mid-thigh must be worn over yoga pants, leggings, jeggings or similar clothing
No Headphones or Earbuds to be worn during the school day
Dress Code Dress Code The school administration reserves the right to alter the dress code for special occasions or extracurricular activities. Parents who require an exemption from the dress code for religious, cultural or short-term medical reasons may make application to the principal. The administration reserves the right to determine if items of clothing are appropriate for school.
