REQUIRED HIRING DOCUMENTS
Position Requisition Form Indicates position and funding information. Serves as a request to fill a position.
Benchmarks Contains criteria for A, B, and C groups.
Description of tasks performed and KSA s (Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities). Functional Job Description
KSA SCORE SHEET Spreadsheet to enter weighted areas of interview questions that tabulates final score. One (1) score sheet for each interviewer and one (1) combined score sheet with total average.
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS Must pertain to the KSA s. No more than 10 questions. Questions must be approved by the HR Office.
Interview Panel Form Three (3) State or Federal employees. Same grade or higher of the position. MUST be a DIVERSE panel.
ADVERTISEMENT Advertised five (5) days unless hiring official specifies. Applications must be submitted by the closing date. Resumes will NOT substitute for a legal application.
INTERVIEWING *Hiring officials should make three (3) attempts to reach an applicant. *Applicants must fill out interview packet which consists of: *Employee Disclosure Forms *AR State Vehicle Safety Program (include copy of driver s license) *Background Consent *Veterans Preference Form *Reference Consent Form
DOCUMENTS NEEDED All Interview Packets Score Sheets (1 combined and 3 separate) Applicant Call Log
Reference Checks Before applicant is hired, HR Analyst will conduct reference/social media checks.
