William II (Rufus) 1087-1100 killed when hunting in the New Forest
Henry I 1100-1135 Made his daughter Matilda heir to the throne.
Stephen 1135-1154 Took the throne from Queen Matilda.
Henry II 1154-1189 The murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket
Richard I 1189-1199 Nicknamed Richard the Lion-heart because he fought in crusades.
John 1199-1216 Signing of the Magna Carta
Henry III 1216-1272 Forced to set up the first ever Parliament .
Edward I 1272-1307 Took control over Scotland and Wales.
Edward II 1307-1327 Was deposed and then murdered by his wife.
Edward III 1327-1377 The Black Death- plague arrives in England
Richard II 1377- 1399 Ruled during the Peasant s revolt
Henry IV 1399-1413 Deposed Richard II. Was the first King from the House of Lancaster.
Henry V 1413-1422 Great victory at Battle of Agincourt against the French
Henry VI 1422-1461 Famous for being crowned King of France but losing it all.
Edward IV 1461-1483 Deposed Henry VI. First king from the House of York.
Edward V 1483 Famous for being one of the princes to go missing from the Tower of London. Presumed murdered.
