Capacity development Programs NISR organizes regular training programs to build and strengthen capacities but also to engage with different audience in data analysis, data literacy and data communication (dissemination) for evidence based policies and decision-making. Training for Planners from public (Ministries & Agencies), private sector and Non-governmental organizations; Trainings for journalists , academicians, Teachers and researchers, Reading data with children Infographic competitions In-houseTrainings Trainings Data Innovations Competitions 3 National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda

Current Data products Censuses: every 10years All data products are regularly published on NISR website and micro-data shared on Nada system Surveys: monthly, quarterly, Yearly , 3 years Statistical Year Book Links: www.statistics.gov.rw https://www.statistics.gov.rw/data-portals: available microdata and development indicators 4 National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda

  5. Persistent Challenges High demand in type & frequency of statistics remains a challenge. We encourage Stakeholders to keep engaging more with available data sets to inform policies and decision-making. Any mitigation plan NISR embarked on the use of technology in census and surveys but also started leveraging non- traditional data sources to complement surveys for more timely, frequent and granular statistics. 5 National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda
