Criteria for indicators in the draft Monitoring Framework Indicators must fulfill the criteria established in the DPoA, including: Maximizing current statistical efforts (national statistical offices, SDGs, current UN system data portals, etc.) Avoid additional burden Favour indicators that can be updated frequently (every 1-3 years) and that are available for the LDCs

Existing tools for monitoring and implementation SDG database Interagency Consultative Group (IACG) on LDCs 53 UN development system and other international entities submissions and datasets Other internationally recognized authoritative sources Secretary-General s Report on the implementation of the Programme of Action of the LDCs (8,500 words, submitted to ECOSOC and the GA).
