This First Week: Creation | The Fall | The Flood | Covenant | Babel
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep . . . (Gen 1:1-2)
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. (Gen 1:3)
Everything physical begins and is empowered in the spiritual
So God created man in his own image. . . God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over . . .over every living creature (Gen 1:27-28)
God created you (1) in His image (2) to start in the spiritual (3) and partner in the physical
You will not surely die, the serpent said to the woman. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. (3:4-5)
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel. (3:15)
In Jesus we are re-created to be in God s image (love) to start in the spiritual and partner with Him in the physical
Gods goal and glory is to partner with His people to create life and destroy chaos
Christ in you, the hope of glory. :(Colossians 1:27)
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. :(Romans 8:18)
This is to my Fathers glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. :(John 15:8)
We ask: God, why don t You fix this and fix them?
We need to ask: God, how do we heal this and love them?
Remember His image Surrender in the Spirit Own your partnership
1. Examine His Image In Your Life Are you open and obedient to His image of love now?
2. Surrender to The Spirit Stop being controlled & filled by social media
3. Own your conversations Listen to understand instead of being understood
Thank you for loving me enough to suffer because of me. I will do the same for you because Jesus it first for us.
