Dialogue and clarification of KESA Pause questions. Provide expectations for systems who are not pausing 2020-2021 Expectations System Reports System and OVT expectations for KESA Visit

  7. Getting a Pulse of KESA Systems on Pause

  8. Social-Emotional Progress How have you addressed the social-emotional needs of staff and students? What data are you collecting to verify that you have effective interventions and supports? What does the analysis of your data tell you? What is your plan now to mitigate any social-emotional loss and what is your plan once the pandemic has ended to correct any areas of need?

  9. Academic Progress What local assessments and measures are you using to gauge your student growth? What does the evidence from those assessments and measures tell you about student progress? What is your plan now to mitigate any academic loss and what is your plan once the pandemic has ended to correct any areas of need?

Requirements and Expectations for Systems who are not pausing January Ensure your OVT Chair and OVT members are still available Work with your OVT on an expected OVT visit date Onsite or Virtual Begin work on System Yearly Update Use word documents on Accreditation Website for your Year in Cycle These will be uploaded to the KESA Authenticated Application when application is updated.

  13. Requirements and Expectations for Systems who are not pausing January February Meet with your District Leadership Team and Building Leadership Teams to review continuous improvement progress. Review data and begin collecting data for your comprehensive needs assessment. Analyze data and develop conclusions about your continuous improvement efforts What is the data telling you about progress? How do you know your strategies were effective? What are your next steps? Special attention to goals, state board outcomes, and definition of successful high school graduate.

  14.
