Drop off all physicals with Ms. Willis in the main office of MPHS Our Athletic Trainer will collect and screen every physical She will put incomplete physicals in the rejected physical box in the main office & the athlete will be contacted to come pick it up for revision If the physical is complete she will communicate that to the coach and forward the physical to the school nurse to be archived We always recommend making copies of your physical before handing it in

  8. Academic Eligibility Academic Eligibility All athletes must be passing 5 credits: 2 majors or Foreign Language Seniors must be passing all classes needed to graduate If a student receives an I on their report card and they need that class to become eligible, their eligibility will be placed on pause until that grade is changed. If the grade is changed to a passing grade, they will become eligible. If the grade is changed to a failing grade, they will become ineligible to participate in athletics until the next issued report card. If a student receives an F on their report card and they need that class to become eligible, they will be declared ineligible to participate in the upcoming athletic season. If the teacher later accepts work or allows that student to make up a test or project and the result of this equates to a change in their grade to a passing grade. They will still be remain Ineligible to participate during the upcoming season. Interims do NOT factor into eligibility we go from report card to report card.

  9. How do I get information about my student How do I get information about my student- - athletes Winter Sports Program? athletes Winter Sports Program? Please check your athletes respective team s Team Info. tab on our sports website at GreenKnightsSports.com for team updates Each team handles team communication a little bit differently. 10. Getting to Practice Getting to Practice Practice will be from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. I would encourage all students to find their own transportation to and from school if possible. If that is not possible, your second option is to ride the bus to practice: The pick up route will begin at 1:30pm from the yard BSD Transportation will be using the same routes for after school activities as they have done in the past. Those stops can be found by clicking on the Bus Stops tab on our sports website. We can only hold 23 students on a bus. So, it could be that the bus approaches the stop and has to continue on to the school. The bus will return to the stop and pick up any remaining students. Transportation will attempt to have a trailer bus when possible.

  11. Team Arrivals for Practice/Games Team Arrivals for Practice/Games Athletes will generally arrive to school around 2:00 2:15pm when riding the bus Upon exiting the bus athletes will immediately report to the school cafeteria. An administrator will supervise the students while in the cafeteria Students may bring there chrome books to hook up to their respective class zooms while waiting for practice to start Athletes will be dismissed directly to practice from the cafeteria once practice starts

  15. Day to Day Operations If any athlete or coach is found to have a temperature of 100.4 or higher they will be asked isolate in a quiet area for 10 minutes to cool off. A second reading will take place after 10 minutes are up. If the reading continues to be over 100.4 then the athlete will be asked to leave the premises immediately and return home. If a ride is not immediately available, individuals with a temperature will be asked to quarantine in a designated area away for the team until someone is able to come to pick them up. If any athlete or coach answers yes to any one of the 4 questions asked on the COVID screening sheet they will also be asked to immediately leave the premises and go home. If a ride is not immediately available, the individual will be asked to quarantine in a designated area away for the team until someone is able to come to pick them up. This applies to both coaches and players. Any players sent home must produce a negative test result from a qualified health professional before being permitted to return to practice or competition. Any player testing positive must quarantine for 14 days and produce a negative COVID test result by a qualified health professional before being permitted to return to practice or competition.
