What is Advisory? 1. Support students in building positive, meaningful relationships with one or more carings adults at school. 2. Helps students develop positive relationships with their peers. 3. Provides a safe place for students to strengthen their academic and social-emotional skills.
About Me: I graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in 2003 I graduated from Georgian Court University with my Master s Degree in Educational Leadership 2019 - Certification to teach K-12th grade Special Education - Certification to teach K-6th grade General Education - Principal Certificate - I am highly qualified in Science, Literacy & Social Studies
About Me: The 2021-2022 school year starts my 19th year teaching in the Jackson School District. I have spent my entire career teaching at Christa McAuliffe Middle School. During the 2021-2022 school year, I am excited to be teaching 7th-grade science and social studies. I will be co-teaching with Mr. Genovese, Ms. Smith, and Mr. Schultz during the first semester.
My Educational Philosophy: As an educator and parent, I believe that when families and educators work together, our students will experience more success in many aspects of their lives. I respect each student s abilities, limitations, and personal experiences. Families are an integral part of each child s educational success. Therefore, I feel that home and school communication is essential. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns that may arise throughout the school year at mjgagliardi@jacksonsd.org As an educator of The Jackson School District, I find it a privilege and honor to educate each diverse learner. I am passionate about serving our school community, especially students with academic, emotional, and/or social limitations and difficulties. I believe that all students can learn, grow, as well as reach their potential when provided a nurturing environment using best practices.
