Grading Scale E= 90% and above V= 80% and above S= 70% and above N= 60% and above U=50% and below
Homework Students: Complete homework every night and return the next day! Read books in plastic ziplock bag. Return plastic ziplock bag with books everyday. (Will start 8/30/21) Bring back your black folder everyday. Parents: Make sure to sign your child s calendar every night.
Behavior Plan *Color System* -Excellent/ Very Good -Green -Satisfactory- Yellow -Needs Improvement/ Unsatisfactory/ Unacceptable- Red
Expectations Behavior Expectations Our Class Rules: 1. Follow directions. 2. Keep hands and feet to yourself. 3. Take turns and share. 4. Raise your hand to speak. 5. Tend to your own business. Schoolwide Rules: 1. Be respectful. 2. Be responsible. 3. Be safe. Students will receive a monthly printed calendar. It is also essential to check your child s printed calendar in their BLACK folders DAILY because you will be able to see their behavior for the day. No matter what color your child receives that day I ask that you sign/initial. GREEN: Any color stamp YELLOW: I will write what behavior took place that caused them to flip RED: I will write RED what behavior took place that caused them to flip and send a Dojo message or call
Newsletter sent home every Monday Dates to remember Homework Phonics Words/ Sight words What we will be learning during the week.
Sight Words: I will be sending home a list of sight words. Please go over sight words as much as possible. The highlighted ones will be what your child already knows
Communication I will be in communication with you through the following ways: Class Dojo Monthly Calendar Conferences Phone calls, using the number you list on your student s information sheet.
