One day, you find this door at the corner of your room. What do you do? Who uses that door? Where does the door take you?
Use the image and the questions to write part of a story You could write either the beginning, middle or end of the story. Or you could choose to write the whole thing. Success criteria: Write in full sentences, using paragraphs and punctuation Include descriptive language and techniques Think carefully about the language you use, what impact will it have on the reader (me)?
My example The tiny hinges squealed in protest as the miniscule white door, which apparated from thin air, began to edge open. Throwing myself towards it for a closer look, fear and excited sending tingling shivers through my spine, I observed the smallest of hands appear hesitantly and wave at me, calling me further, inviting me on a journey I would never forget
