Develop a data-based driven approach to maximizing small business opportunities PROCESSES 02 MISSION Deliver small business policy that is required, clear and easily implemented POLICIES 03 Promote and integrate small businesses into the industrial base of contractors and subcontractors that support the future of space exploration, scientific discovery, and aeronautics research.. PATHWAYS INTO THE AERONAUTICS AND SPACE SUPPLY CHAIN (P.A.S.S) Organize industry engagement events tailored top NAICS and PSCs for sourcing domestic manufacturing capabilities. Strengthen partnerships with aerospace & defense sector advocacy groups to maximize participation. Targeted Outreach & Advocacy Provide transparent and detailed procurement forecasts to identify opportunities across NASA s top 20 NAICS codes. Focus on emerging sectors such as aerospace manufacturing and R&D to align opportunities with NASA s mission. Enhanced Procurement Forecasting Expand the NASA Mentor-Prot g Program to develop space manufacturing capabilities and capacity- building for small businesses. Promote teaming opportunities through NASA s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs. Supplier Development Expand NASA OSBP industry service offerings into technical expertise in areas R&D, Manufacturing, Access to Capital. Implement strategies to improve small business participation at all tiers of the supply chain. Supplier Competitiveness Use advanced analytics to monitor agency small business performance and adjust strategies in real time.
