  8. 2023 IN SUMMARY Membership Approval of Financial Report $81,000 in the bank, $22k increase from 2022 Membership increase by ~ 30% Nationals- $53,500 profit; ~$45k increase from 2022 First time in a decade, exceeded fundraising goal of $30,000 Advertising: NWHA News (Printed & Online) no profit, ~$8,100 in both expenses and revenue Horse Show Revenue - $3,780 income, down $360 from 2022

DQP UPDATE A thank-you to our team New reporting requirements from the USDA for 2024 and re-emphasized points from 2023 NWHA affiliated shows did a great job of updating their software to meet the latest reporting requirements from the USDA Total inspections for 2023 = 7,457. An increase of 2,440 over 2022 (includes pre and post show) USDA/HIO training date January 27th
