FY 2022 Wilderness Priorities Continue support for Wilderness Stewardship Performance, Wilderness Character Monitoring WSP: Continue to receive FY21 data, but preliminary results suggest increase in the number of areas meeting baseline performance standards WCM: collected baseline data (or in process) on about 40% of FS wilderness Finalize Congressionally mandated climbing directives Continue development of guidance for recreational climbing on National Forest System lands, including in Congressionally designated wilderness Complete revision of the Minimum Requirements Decision Guide Interagency working group striving to make MRDG process more intuitive while maintaining its effectiveness in helping managers make defensible decisions when considering a use otherwise prohibited by Wilderness Act
