Some of the solutions 1. Central ordering and distribution of PPE 2. Roll out of Alexas and Tablets to services 3. Volunteers shopping and virtually keeping in touch 4. Zoom Keeping in touch meetings 5. Communications even when nothing new to say 6. Memorial event 7. Daily Huddles 8. Weekly broader Pandemic meetings 9. Daily phone calls to services to support and gather data on sickness 10.Every service analysis of lowest possible staffing and contingency plans if below that

Current challenges Vaccinations Cohorting Guidance less clear creates challenges with PWS and families Guidance for Care homes different from general population Impact of closed services Impact of a year in stasis Staff teams tired, some traumatised Build up of Annual leave Capability of LA resourcing to help to fill voids, change services Move from emergency solutions to more permanent Moving to BAU
Current challenges Supporting people to get back to their old lives (building confidence) Support and training on the real job for staff who joined during lockdown Building on the learning from the good things that have come from the Pandemic
Plans for the future New ways of using the office New strategic approaches in both LD and MH divisions broadening our community support services support to families, picking up the loneliness agenda creating a continuum of services for people Communications keep the KIT calls 2 weekly Appointed a strategic Head of IT develop comms for all teams Reintroducing audits - in depth but supportive Working on a more permanent blended learning approach
Plans for the future Prioritising inductions and support for support workers who arrived during lockdown. PBS working group reviewing the positive impacts on behaviour. Structured individual plans for every service reviewing their quality and financial performance Prioritised across the organisation. All HO objectives to support Operations to achieve their objectives. Engagement post staff survey, staff consultative group, wellbeing discussion groups.
