  10. Sustainability Sustainability means that you can continue the program after your main funding source ends. Thinking sustainably means finding other sources of funding or perhaps developing a way to enhance your funding with fundraising or gifts of in-kind donations.

  11. Skills to Hone Planning Organizing Staffing Leading Reflection

  12. Leadership Concepts important to leading a group Decision making Managing conflict Reaching agreement Fostering a positive environment Motivation Inspiration Fun!

  13. Beyond the Tribal Boundary Line Build partnerships Meet with other tribes and their program people Get to know the Area Agency on Agency (AAA) in your area and the State Unit on Aging (SUA) as a beginning Get to know Non Governmental organizations (NGO), Neighboring Counties.

  14. Reflection/Evaluation How do we learn and improve? How do we learn from success and failure? How do we identify best practices that work in Indian Country? Are you capturing the data and information you need in order to know if you are doing a good job? How do you develop a problem solving protocol? How do you encourage a workplace that welcomes creative solutions? With whom do we reflect and evaluate with? Ensure it is community and client based.
