Together other WFNR SIGs (Telerehab, Technology, Developing World Forum,Service Development ) we decided to build a Task Force focused on this aim connecting different programmes, interventions and tools around Community, mainly regarding developing Countries . This content has been presented (a Session and a Round Table ) in 2021 AOCNR . This content has been presented in 2021 Rehabilitation International Congress. This content has been proposed, in a larger and specific view on Neurorehabilitation, for the WFNR Vienna Congress.
Rehab 2030 Call for Action Rehabilitation in the 21st century - Implementing and Strengthening Rehabilitation in Health Systems in every Community accross the continuum of cares . Future relevant step will be the World Health Assembly new Resolution on Rehabilitation. In the global scenario of Publich Health Rehabilitation Services in any Country , surely Neuro Rehabilitation on one side and Community Rehabilitation on other side must have great roles to face main disabled people needs along the life . In this field on behalf of this WFNR Sig, I maintained and implemented cooperations with Disabled People World Associations ( Humanity & Inclusion, Federation Handicap International, Rehabilitation International ) to introduce qualified NR topics and contents in some documents and suggestions delivered towards different bodies working to prepare Rehabilitation Resolution ( mainly WHO and GRA ) .
Along these activities we received interest and awailability to cooperate in SIG for the future from some collegues during AOCNR and RI Congress Countries and by email ( Nabilah Binti Abdul Rahman, Tom s Campbell ). In the same time , to enlarge scientific interest around these NR arguments, I suggested and obtained from Editorial Board the creation in Frontiers (the world relevant group of Journals ) in Rehabilitation Sciences a new research and publication topic focused on how to strengthen rehabilitation in Health Systems in developing Countries . In the first part of new year we could have a specific publication : I am asking by our NR collegues some papers as contributors specifically addressed to the main topics on rehabilitation including public health on neurorehab to be submitted before February .
