  12. Conclusions 1/3 All the task are proceeding as expected towards the first deliverable, due on month 24. Task 3.1 - neutrino interactions and cross section (all participants involved) 1. measured the CC1pi cross section in water and we are investigating the nue-CC0pi and CC1pi coherent in water; 2. measured the CC0pi cross-section using the near detector data; 3. the 2 particle-2 hole (2p-2h) investigation is on-going: a first indication of the existence of 2p-2h interactions has been assessed and the result is about published on PRD. (Meson Exchange Studies) MEC are currently carried on by using kinematical variables of reconstructed tracks as well as the search for not reconstructed protons using vertex activity and neural network; 4. Ongoing detailed comparison of the measurements with most advanced 2p2h models and a study of 2p2h effect on oscillation analysis for estimation of systematics is currently carried on; 5. Ongoing analysis of cross-section measurements for nu/nubar and carbon/oxygen 12 London 22-23/9/16 EU Grant n.644294

  13. Conclusions 2/3 Task 3.2 - External background studies (NCBJ, QMUL, RAL) 1. We have studied the impact of different effects (sand density, flux tuning) on the rate of incoming particles from beam neutrinos interactions outside of ND280 in order to reduce the observed discrepancy between data and MonteCarlo; 2. we are investigating the possibility to use sand muons to probe high energy part of neutrino spectrum; Task 3.3 - Exotic physics (IFAE, QMUL, RAL) 1. Sterile neutrino analysis is currently on-going; 2. we have successfully performed a very accurate measurement of Lorentz violation and a paper is being published. 13 London 22-23/9/16 EU Grant n.644294

  14. Final comment All tasks proceed as scheduled, deadlines will deliverables will be honored. be met and 14 London 22-23/9/16 EU Grant n.644294
