  1. New Auxiliaries

  2. New Auxiliary Check List A VFW Post votes to have an Auxiliary, a Charter application containing a minimum of fifteen (15) eligible members (new or former; transfer members do not count towards the 15), the minutes of the VFW Post meeting, and a check for $100.00 must be mailed from the Department to National Headquarters. National Headquarters will send all the necessary documents and will order a Charter Kit to be sent to the Organizer (selected by the Department President) for the new Auxiliary. The Organizer and Department are to investigate the eligibility of all potential members. The Organizer completes and send the Institution and Installation Reports to both the Department and National Headquarters immediately after Institution.

  3. New Auxiliary Check List Once the Institution and Installation reports have been received at National HQ, a profile page for the Auxiliary will be created in MALTA and the Department Treasurer will be asked to enter the membership. Once the Auxiliary profile has been created in MALTA it will then have forty-five (45) days to enter in their ACH, complete a W-9 and pay the Auxiliary Bond. National HQ will order an Auxiliary Seal to be sent to the Auxiliary Treasurer and Charter to be send to the Auxiliary President.
