  1. Pipe Line Industry Advancement Fund (PLIAF) New Contribution Procedures effective January 1, 2021

  2. New PLIAF Contribution Procedures Currently collected on UA NPLA hours only $.40/hour Contributions are sent in with Local 798 benefits Contributions are mandatory for PLCA members Optional for non-members Provides approx. 50-60% of funding for PLCA

  3. New PLIAF Contribution Procedures Effective January 1, 2021: Contributions will be required under all NPLAs Referenced in UA & IBT NPLA (rates changed) Not referenced in IUOE & LIUNA NPLA but still required Contributions will be sent into Zenith American Solutions Not remitted with any other union benefits Contributions are mandatory for PLCA members Optional for non-members

  4. New PLIAF Contribution Procedures Contribution rates: For work performed under the mainline agreement or under an attachment where full mainline wage rates apply, the contribution rate will be $0.15 per hour. For work performed under an attachment or addenda where reduced wage rates apply, the contribution rate will be $0.10 per hour.

New PLIAF Contribution Procedures All reporting / payments through Employer Edge Zenith will host webinar in January Monthly report will be generated for each Member All reports will have all 4 unions Report zero hours for any unions not used / not signatory Aggregate reporting of all NPLA hours per month per craft Not reported by project Additional materials will be distributed to Members in the coming weeks Contribution/ delinquency policies Participation Agreement Cross-reference benefit fund contributions to verify reporting
