  2. New reality for trainees No tutorials No protected learning time No whole or half-day release programme WBPA suspended

  3. Grab teaching opportunities Debriefs Informal support & teaching for trainees Include them in virtual practice meetings Zoom meetings Wednesday 2 pm

  7. WBPA ST3 finishers: minimum evidence required across ST3 year CBDs: 6 COTs: 6 Learning logs: expected trainees will continue to add Fill in gaps in evidence Mandatory intimate examination CEPs If any missing, the ES can comment in their opinion, the trainee would have the skills to perform the relevant examination competent & safely MSF: 1 across whole year SEA: 1 during training programme (+ anything significant that has occurred) BLS: on-line training acceptable (upload certificate) Level 3 child safeguarding: on-line acceptable ESR: 1 Form R completed

  8. WBPA ST3 finishers No audio COT needed No prescribing assessment No adult safeguarding No reflection on a safeguarding issue No PSQ No non-mandatory CEPS needed No audit/QIP No OOH No CSR? would be very useful though. ES can ask for one

ESR ST3 finishers: simplified Trainee and ES need to rate all capabilities as competent for licensing Trainee needs to provide 3 pieces of supportive evidence for each capability from whole of ST3 ES just needs to affirm the trainee evidence Unless they are NFD- BE: explanation necessary Log entries linked to some, but not all, clinical experience groups

  10. ESR: ST3 finishers If trainee unsatisfactory in the 1stST3 review: Need to comment on in final ST3 review Additional evidence will be required

  11. ESRs No need for comments on: Clinical experience coverage Review of PDP Quality of evidence CEPs Can just write N/A in the box

  12. ESR ST3 finishers: Missing evidence Make a comment Trainee made satisfactory progress up to the point when training suspended due to Covid 19 Signpost compensatory evidence

  13. ESR ST3 finishers: Missing evidence ARCP panel will make a global judgement of evidence across the 3 year programme

  14. ESR ST3 finishers Missing exams: Training will be extended ES needs to tick that this is their final review Can then comment on CPR etc. Capability ratings must solely be based on WBPA, not on failure of the exam

  15. OOH: all trainees Trainees don t have to do a set number of hours No OOH requirement currently for MRCGP Use urgent and unscheduled care (UUC) in Practices for learning logs No requirement for providing evidence for all the capabilities for UUC with Covid Contractual requirement bank holidays can count

  16. ST1s, ST2s, ST3s not finishing RCGP have just added guidance Light touch favoured
