Annual Awards 2021 Apprentice of the Year Award Entry Form Closing Date for Entries: Award Presentation: 30 September 2021 14 October 2021 Eligibility In order to be eligible, the nominated apprentice must have been enrolled on an apprenticeship scheme in a highways and transportation related occupation in 2021. They do not have to still be in that employment. There is no age restriction for entrants. www.ciht.org.uk/neandc
North East & Cumbria Region Annual Awards 2021 Apprentice of the Year Award Entry Form The CIHT North East & Cumbria Region Annual Awards celebrate the very best that the region can offer across all areas of highways and transportation. This year the Covid-19 Pandemic has changed how many of us work and in this time of change and uncertainty, we know of colleagues who have helped us deliver our projects and supported others in the profession. We would like to recognise their contribution to the industry in the region. The Apprentice of the Year Award recognises the efforts of one Apprentice who, in addition to undertaking their duties has proven to be a rising star within the Region. During their time within the industry they consistently go above and beyond their daily duties and make an exceptional contribution to their workplace... The entry form can be completed by the apprentice or a colleague on their behalf. (maximum 500 words Supporting images / pictures / plans can be attached to this submission) Consider: Professionalism, dedication to helping others, commitment to sharing best practice amongst colleagues and the wider professional community. The judges are looking for apprentices who have made a difference to the organisation they work in. The submission will be judged against the following criteria (equal weighting to all categories) professional development, commitment and contribution, helping others and general competence.

(maximum 100 words) For example, an endorsement can be from a client who can provide an additional professional recommendation for the person over and above the submitter. Please provide the endorsement below, as well as the details of the endorser. Submitter s signature Date I agree to the General Guidelines and Data Protection Notices posted on the CIHT region website I am submitting additional supporting information Awards entries can be submitted until 30 September 2021 by emailing them to northeastandcumbria@ciht.org.uk under the subject header of CIHT Regional Awards . The award winners will be announced on 14 October 2021 at a virtual awards ceremony. The ceremony will feature information about each shortlisted entry so we would be grateful if you could provide up to three PowerPoint slides of any relevant photos, images or plans to demonstrate the quality of the work.
