3GPP TSG-RAN WG4 #94-e-Bis April 20th 30th, 2020 Electronic Meeting R4-200xxxx WF on NR-U UE Rx requirements Qualcomm Incorporated
Reference sensitivity REFSENS for Band n46 Operating band / SCS / Channel bandwidth Operating Band kHz (dBm) 15 -89.7 30 -89.9 60 -90.1 SCS 20 MHz 40 MHz (dBm) -86.6 -86.7 -86.9 60 MHz (dBm) -84.8 -85.0 80 MHz (dBm) -83.6 -83.6 n46 The reference sensitivity minimum requirements should be the same regardless if intraCellGuardBandDL-r16, if supported, are configured or scheduled. REFSENS for 10MHz channel BW shall be defined for CA purpose, but not for other Rx requirements. REFSENS RMC is specified with all sub-bands and all RB s within the DL channel allocated with intra-cell guard bands configured to zero. UL configuration is all sub-bands and all RB s fully allocated using DFT-S-OFDM
ACS In-channel ACS requirement is not specified Bandwidth of interfering signal is fixed 20 MHz for all cases including single carrier and CA Single carrier For ACS Case 1 Wanted signal power is REFSENS + 14 dB ACS for 20 MHz CBW is 20 dB; i.e., power of interferer is REFSENS+32.5 dB Case 2 Not specified Intra-band contiguous CA For ACS Case 1 Wanted signal power is REFSENS + 14 dB ACS is scaled from 20 MHz baseline to the max aggregated bandwidth supported in the bandwidth class (same as for NR) Case 2 Not specified
In-band blocking In-channel blocking requirement is not specified Bandwidth of interfering signal is fixed 20 MHz for all cases including single carrier and CA Single carrier wanted signal parameters RX parameter Units 20 MHz Power in transmission bandwidth configuration BWinterferer MHz FIoffset, case 1 MHz FIoffset, case 2 MHz Channel bandwidth 40 MHz 60 MHz 80 MHz dBm dB REFSENS + channel bandwidth specific value below 9 12 13.8 15 20 30 50 Intra-band contiguous CA Wanted power is scaled from 20 MHz baseline to the max aggregated bandwidth supported in the bandwidth class (same as for NR)
Out-of-band blocking Range 3 power level to -20 dBm (to enable common filtering between 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands) NOTE 5: The power level of the interferer (PInterferer) for Range 3 shall be modified to -20 dBm, for FInterferer > 4200 MHz. Wanted signal power at REFSENS + 9 for all CBW including intra-band CA
Narrowband blocking Not specified for NR-U Narrowband signals are not expected in 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands
