  1. Evangel Christian Fellowship To Avoid Deception Is Obedience To His Instructions Pastor Mei Chin 11/12/2016

  2. Isaiah 55:8-11 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. 3. Isaiah 40:8 8The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever. Psalm 138:2 2I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  4. Genesis 1:26-28 26Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. 5. Genesis 2:19-25 19Out of the ground the LORDGod formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. 21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 6. Genesis 2:19-25 (cont.) 23And Adam said: This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man. 24Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. 7. 1 Peter 1:25 25But the word of the LORD endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. Acts 3:21 21"whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  8. Times of Restoration began in Book of Acts. Now is still the Times of Restoration believe it! Believe what He said Evangel Christian Fellowship

  9. In the vaster (extensive, broad, boundless, limitless, immeasurable, infinite, immense = of very great) purposes of God, the Bible reveals that God is a covenant - making and a covenant - keeping God. The Bible as a whole, points to there being a sinless offspring yet to come. The reason for this are founded in the revelation and understanding of God s original intention in the creation of man. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  10. 1. A Sinless Marriage 2. A Sinless Bridegroom (Adam bridegroom) 3. A Sinless Bride (Mrs Adam bride) 4. A Sinless Offspring (sinless human race of family Manchild company) Evangel Christian Fellowship

  11. To understand Gods vaster purposes, We have to go back to God s original purpose in the Garden of Eden. We have to go back to the creation of Man and Woman, and the COVENANT He made with them there. It begins with the 1stMan and the 1st Woman Evangel Christian Fellowship

  12. 1. 13. 14. 15. When Adam was created, he was a type of Christ Paul says that he was the figure (greek tupos ) of Him who was to come Rom 5:14, 1 Cor 15:45-46, with Gen 2:19- 25, Eph 5L23-32) Evangel Christian Fellowship

  16. Eve (the name given by Adam to her after the fall), is a type of the Church , the bride. She was taken from Adam s opened side, in that deep sleep and God builded her into a woman, a suitable bride and helpmeet for Adam. She was bone of his bone, flesh of his flesh. She was the 1stvirgin created by God for this marriage. The 1stmarriage was sinless, pure, holy and perfect Evangel Christian Fellowship

  17. 2 Cor 11:1-3 1Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly and indeed you do bear with me. 2For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  18. The bride was in the husband, Adam, even as the bride is in the bridegroom John 3:29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  19. She was made of the same nature, likeness and substance as Adam. She was of Adam s body, a rib, yet built into a bride. These 2 became one flesh in holy matrimony, joined together by the Lord God, and this took place at the close of the 6thday of the week of creation . Evangel Christian Fellowship

  20. The woman was made for man, a partner for him. * The woman is the glory of man (1 Cor 11:9Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.) Man is the head of the woman, for Adam was 1stformed, then Mrs Adam (1 Tim 2:13-15 -13For Adam was formed first, then Eve.14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.15Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.) Evangel Christian Fellowship

  21. Adam, was untied to a virgin bride, the 1st woman. This was all before the entrance of sin. It was a sinless marriage. These things are scripturally true. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  22. 2. Christ and His Church Ephesians 5:23-33 23For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, Evangel Christian Fellowship

  23. Ephesians 5:23-33 (cont.) 27that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30For we are members of His body,of His flesh and of His bones. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  24. Ephesians 5:23-33 (cont.) 31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. 32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  25. All of this was prophetic of Christ and His church, as Paul clearly states. Christ and His church, His bride, are to be joined in holy wedlock in the evening of the 6thday of the week of redemption The Lord is building a bride for Himself, by the ministering of the Holy Spirit. This church will be of like nature, character and substance. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  26. He that has a bride is the bridegroom (John 3:29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.) He who has the church is the Christ. The church is bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  27. It means the church must have a body like unto the Lord s glorious body (Philippians 3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.) This must be in order for the great mystery, the marriage of Christ and His Church to take place. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  28. Christ will not be joined to a sinful, corruptible and mortal flesh kind of bride. This would be to violate His own laws of be not unequally yoked together He will not marry a bride inferior to Himself. The bride must be sinless, perfect, incorruptible to be joined to the husband, Christ Evangel Christian Fellowship

  29. The marriage of Christ will be to a pure, chaste virgin church. It will be a sinless, pure and holy marriage, even as the 1stmarriage of Adam & his wife. It is the 1stChrist then the church. As Adam s side was opened, and possibly blood was shed to provide his bride, so was Christ s side pierced at the Cross, blood and water flowed from His side to provide His bride (John 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out) Evangel Christian Fellowship

  30. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning (Ecc 7:8) Then further, in the 1stAdam was his bride, and in the bridegroom and the bride was the child, or the offspring, the seed as yet to be born. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  31. So in the last Adam is his bride, and in the bridegroom & the bride is the offspring, the seed of the woman, the Manchild (John 3:29) Paul calls the Marriage of Christ to His Church the Great Mystery . Evangel Christian Fellowship

  32. 3. Edenic Covenant Genesis 1:26-28 26Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  33. Genesis 2:19-25 19Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. 34. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  35. The Edenic Covenant was given to Mr & Mrs Adam at the Garden of Eden before the entrance of sin The covenant involved rulership, dominion & authority in the earth. God created man for fellowship, relationship, dominion in His character Evangel Christian Fellowship

  36. Mr & Mrs Adam were king and queen under God s daily instructions. The earth was their inheritance and their possession. It was their birthright their right by creation. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  37. This covenant involved Gods blessing and command (v28) Be fruitful and multiply fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth Evangel Christian Fellowship

  38. This covenant was given before sin enters to replenish the earth. Mr and Mrs Adam were to populate the earth with a creation and a race like unto themselves in the Image of God according to His likeness. God wanted them to reproduce themselves a sinless race of beings. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  39. The Purpose of God in the creation and marriage of Mr & Mrs Adam was to bring forth sinless offspring in multiplication and to fill the earth so to subdue, have dominion. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  40. Psalm 8 1O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! 2Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. 3When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7All sheep and oxen Even the beasts of the field, 8The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. 9O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth! Evangel Christian Fellowship

  41. Psalm 115:16 16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD s; But the earth He has given to the children of men. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  42. If Adam and his wife had not sinned, then their offspring would have been a perfect offspring They would have produced a sinless, immortal, and incorruptible seed Perfect children would have been born, without pain, sorrow, without heartache and travail Evangel Christian Fellowship

  43. The earth would have populated with a sinless creation, a sinless race of human beings Each would have been clean, pure and holy. This was God s original intention This was God s purpose in the Edenic covenant made before sin entered. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  44. Since the fall from the glory of God (Gen 3; Rom 3:23) every child of Adam s race has been born in sin, shapen in iniquity, born under the curse of sin, of sickness, of diseases and death Evangel Christian Fellowship

  45. Because of the sin of rebellion and disobedience in the heart, the human race has brought forth a corruptible mortal creation (Rom 5:12-21) Satan through the fall, thus prevented the birth of any perfect sinless offspring from Adam & Eve, and the whole human race. It looks like as if satan had frustrated or cancelled out God s covenant to man. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  46. Under the reign of sin, God introduced the plan of redemption. And each of the covenants given by God (8 of them) were fragments of the Everlasting Covenant made in the council of Godhead in the events of sin. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  47. The question is: Has God forgotten His original covenant or cast away His plan? Certainly not! (Is 55:8-11, 40:8, 1 Pet 1:25) We can absolutely trust in His word *All the covenants from O.T consummated in the New Covenant the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That which was apparently frustrated in creation will come to fulfilment in redemption. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  48. His will and purpose is still to bring forth a sinless, perfect and immortal creation. This time, it will be through Jesus Christ & His Church, His Bride. The creation which Adam and his wife would have brought forth, would have been like a new creation, a new order, a perfect human offspring, having no need of redemption. They would have not been born sinful nor the product of sinful parents. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  49. The New Covenant Matthew 26:26-28 26And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it,and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is My body. 27Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink from it, all of you. 28For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Evangel Christian Fellowship

  50. Hebrews 8:6-12 6But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. 7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. 8Because finding fault with them, He says: Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah Evangel Christian Fellowship
