  4. What is required to be reviewed and approved? Per SU s PHS Assurance-All research and teaching activities involving animals regardless of funding source Per SU s FWA-All research that meets the definition of human subjects research regardless of funding source

  5. The office provides assistance to faculty, staff and students who are working with animals or humans in research and provides administrative support for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
