Update: Quarantine Guidance Quarantine for exposed, asymptomatic residents reduced to: 10d or 7d + negative test within 48hrs If critical logistical issues and standard options are unfeasible (e.g., due to staff, space, PPE constraints), consult with infection control experts and LPHA regarding quarantine flexibilities for residents/patients who are up to date on vaccination or who have recovered from COVID-19 within past 90d. 12 12 12 12 12
Isolation No change If individual tests positive on admission, they should isolate: 10d from start of symptoms, if symptomatic; or 10d from positive test Testing not recommended for people who have recovered from COVID within past 90d. If with symptoms, should isolate until 24hrs without fever and with symptom reduction. 13 13 13 13 13
