BUREAU OF COUNTY FINANCE & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE REDISTRIBUTION PROCESS FOR FCFC Add slides 4
FAMILY & YOUTH VOICE FUNDING OPPORTUNITY SURVEY RESULTS Family & Youth Voice Incentive Program Recap: An earmark of $500,000 in MSY funding was appropriated toward increasing Family and Youth Voice by providing funding opportunities to incentivize participation. OFCF is offering this funding to all FCFCs demonstrating a plan to utilize the voices of families and youth in its community. A survey was sent to all Coordinators, Directors, Administrative Agents on 2/14/24 offering an opportunity to complete the survey. Deadline to respond was 3/15/24. Survey Results: 64 counties with approved narratives Payment of $7,812.50 each Next Steps: Agreements are currently being amended Expect an email soon requesting review of amendment agreement and Administrative Agent s signature Return to OFCF for Director s signature Fully executed provided to FCFC once available Payment will be issued 5
FYI Reminder OCBF Applications for SFY25 Application attachment sent on 1/8/24 All counties required to submit application + meeting minutes to receive OCBF funding Due 4/11/24 Reallocations PO Counties Deadline to response to survey was 3/15/24 Significant amount to reallocate this fiscal year Expect an email soon with more details if you requested additional FCSS and/or are releasing FCSS funding to other FCFCs Reallocations CFIS Counties Deadline to request additional FCSS and/or release FCSS funding to other counties is Friday, April 12th Contact CFIS_Help_Desk@jfs.ohio.gov with any questions or concerns 6
FYI Reminder: Amendments End of the state fiscal year is approaching and amendment agreements will need completed for FCSS reallocations, Best Practice Training Incentives and Family & Youth Voice payments. If your county is expecting to participate in any of these, and your council requires a meeting for amendment approvals, please start adding the amendment to your agendas for April. This will help ensure timely approval of fully executed amendments and creation of purchase order before OBM s fiscal deadline. 7
