  5. ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL Students should not arrive to school before 7:45 am. This is a safety issue as there are no adults to supervise at this time. Dismissal begins at 3:30 pm M, T, Th, and F and 2:30 pm on Wednesdays Parents will not be able to sign students out thirty minutes before dismissal unless it is an emergency. We are teaching until the bell rings and we don t want students missing instruction. Parents must sign-in through the front office before entering campus

  6. UNIFORM DRESS CODE What is the uniform policy? Tops should be made of knit or cotton material. Colors- Light Blue/ Navy Blue STEM - Hunter Green / Tan . Tops consist of: Boys: Short Sleeved Polo-type Shirts Girls: Short Sleeved Polo-type Shirts Long Sleeved Polo-type Shirts

  7. UNIFORM DRESS CODE Bottoms should be made of khaki or uniform material. Color is khaki or navy blue. Bottoms consist of: Pants Shorts Skorts (shorts with skirt front flap) Jumper Dresses Jeans (Spirit Days and cold weather)

  9. Only Students With An IEP (Individual Education Plan) Only Students With An IEP (Individual Education Plan) receive ESE services. Services Are Listed Below receive ESE services. Services Are Listed Below:: Small Group Math Small Group Reading Small Group Social Skills Consultation Speech & Language Services are provided in a small group session in the ESE teacher classroom. Support facilitation is also provided which is services provided in the students general education classroom. All services are provided 2 or more times a week based upon the students needs.

CHAMPS The overall goal of the CHAMPs classroom management system is to develop an instructional structure in which students are responsible, motivated, and highly engaged in the specific task at hand. More particularly, the teacher's goal is to teach students directly how to be successful in specific class situations.

The Role of the School Counselor The counselor's primary task is to help students become better learners by providing a comprehensive program that includes Academic, Personal-Social/Emotional, and Career Exploration support. This is achieved through Direct Services, Responsive Services, Individual planning, Systems Support and a SEL/Guidance Curriculum.

  13. School Counselors Help Students Achieve Success in School By Helping in the development of positive attitudesamong students towards self, family, and community. Counseling with students individually and in small groups to help students understand and appreciate their unique qualities, and to develop personal and social norms. Supporting students by teaching skills for achieving success. Developing and delivering classroom SEL/guidance lessons that teach skills such as making good decisions, conflict resolution, and respecting others. Inspiring students to become invested in their education by connecting school performance to future opportunities, and real-world experiences. Working collaboratively with parents, and teachers to identify and remove barriers that may impede student achievement.
