Reminder: Business Affairs Service Quality Questionnaire Please rate the quality of service you have received from Business Affairs units via our Business Affairs Service Quality Questionnaire The questionnaire will close COB Friday, December 4 Your responses are anonymous Feedback will help us assess the extent to which our service level has changed since we launched our division-wide service standards in 2019 Responses will inform business process improvement prioritization

Updates from Workday Support Team Contact: Liliana Garcia In collaboration with NSHE, the UNLV Workday Support Team is vetting all existing job aids against the system s current configuration Once vetted, these PDF documents will be converted to HTML Goal is to provide a better experience for campus users by making job aids searchable by keywords, more accessible to the visually impaired, and to keep job aids up to date by allowing business analysts to address configuration changes in a shorter amount of time Progress to Date: Approximately 200 job aids to be vetted, to date 90 job aids have been reviewed and are in the process of being converted to HTML

The Director of Organizational Development will match you with three potential coaches. Employee Type - Semester (PTI Hours Per Week) Period Activity Pay - Complete to HR in Workday by December 11th. Activity dates and Payment dates should match. Activity Start Date: 01/11/2021 Payment Start Date: 01/11/2021 Activity End Date: 05/21/2021 Payment End Date: 05/21/2021 Costing allocation: Start date 01/01/2021 or first day of month starting; Costing allocation: End date leave blank (unless paying on a grant). Comments: A description of course information, class days, number of credits, and per credit rate in the comments field for all period activity pay. Notes: ECC forms should be completed and to the Provost office by December 11th. If the class is cancelled, please end the PAP before the January payroll runs.

  12. Benefits and Leave Contact Lily Magana Furloughs Overview: Dr. Ericka Smith provided an overview during the Town Hall Meeting on 11/18/2020. Nevada Assembly Bill 3 (AB 3), passed by the Nevada State Legislature during the 31stspecial legislative session on July 20, 2020, includes salary reduction (4.6%) and furloughs (48 hours) for employees in the State s classified system. NSHE approved furlough leave (48 hours) and a corresponding salary reduction (4.6%) for all employees of the NSHE pursuant to Assembly Bill 3 on November 13, 2020. Notifications sent out on November 18, 2020.   13. Compensation/Classification Contact Michelle Hogan/Damaris Aguirre Master Letter of Appointment (LOA) job descriptions are now live on the Letter of Appointment salaried guidelines website. These standardized descriptions ensure workers are performing exempt level work under university and FLSA guidelines. Departments may use these master job descriptions in lieu of providing duties descriptions when hiring.   16. W-2s now available in Workday Employees are now able to receive electronic copies of their W-2s for 2018 and later years. A job aid is available with instructions for how to access W-2s 2018 and 2019 W-2s are available for download now. 2020 documents will be available in Workday at the end of January 2021 Paperless elections from ADP do not carry over into Workday. Duplicate routing approvals for requisitions A new Workday enhancement removes potential duplicate requisition approval routing for managers / supervisors when they have previously approved requisitions as the detailed worktag manager (programs, gifts, grants, projects - PGGP) security role.   18. Monthly Check Printing Payments Accounts Payable will print and mail paper checks for suppliers once a month during the COVID-19 pandemic. Drive-up services are provided. The check(s) will be delivered to your vehicle at the south entrance to CSB at the scheduled time. Please have your UNLV employee I.D. available at the time of pickup. Accounts Payable has scheduled monthly check pick-up and distribution for the rest of the year: Monday, November 30 Tuesday, December 29 To arrange check pickup, please email racquel.rodriguez@unlv.edu prior to 7 p.m. the day before the distribution date.
