What would you consider to be an illegal drug? If the government allows the sale of it, do you still consider it a drug? Propose a system for determining what is a drug.
Vocabulary British East India Company A company that was responsible for half of the world s trade and was in charge of India at one point. The company had private armies and used brutal tactics to make money. Opium A highly addictive drug produced from the poppy plant. It is similar to heroin but usually smoked not injected.
