Things to consider... CCP - Career and College Promise legislation offered through the NC Community College System. NHCS partners with Cape Fear Community College to offer college transfer and career pathway courses to NHCS students at no charge (excludes books and fees). Transition opportunity to minimize common pitfalls (8th - 9th grade transition) Restart Option provides calendar flexibility that can be advantageous when partnering with CFCC STAE - Striving to Achieve Excellence is an elective designed to support students college prep classes. CTE - Career Technical Education
An Early college like schedule with A Career Focus? Focus on earning high school credits early to allow for more access to CCP courses. WECHS, IBEC and SEA Tech have created successful opportunities where kids have greater access to college credits and industry credentials.
