  3. Virus Symptoms are Variable Cymbidiums often have mosaic pattern or necrosis on their leaves Laelia plants may have purple splotches Some plants are asymptomatic Cattleya frequently have necrosis or color breaks on the flowers Phalaenopsis leaves may curve downward

  8. Virus is easily transmitted 01 02 03 04 Use only sterile tools Repot on sheets of news paper. Fold and remove top sheet after repotting Clean and sterilize plastic pots with bleach Scrub clay pots and bake in oven at 375 degree for 45 minutes

  9. Isolate Isolate new plants There is currently no cure for orchid virus Inspect Vigilantly inspect for symptoms Test Test to be certain Remove Remove any infected plants
