Agenda Welcome, Introductions, Agenda Review - Peter Tamayo ODE CIO: 9:00- 9:05am ODE CIO Update Peter, 9:05-9:30am Governor s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) II Funding Michael Elliot, 9:30 9:40am Update on the Connecting Oregon Schools Fund and the ODE program analyst position Melissa Garner, 9:40 9:50am 2022 Oregon Legislative Preview and post-review the 2021 Legislative Session Stu Mayberry, 9:50-10:00am Break 10:00-10:15am Updates on ODE Data Systems Sandee Hawkins / Mike Mendez, 10:15 10:30am Link Oregon and a perspective on state legislation and federal funding, Steve Corbato, 10:30-11:00am ODE IT Director s Update / Round Table

  3. CIO Update ODE Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Information Technology recruitment is still ongoing. Zoe Larmer is the new ODE Government Relations and External Affairs. Zoe replaces Jessica Ventura New: IT PEM D for Governance, Policy and Strategy (pending permanent financing) IT Connecting Oregon School Fund Program Analyst (Melissa will discuss later in the agenda) Recruitments on in process for multiple Information System Specialist ODE Public Service Building is closed again until further notice

  4. CIO Update The ODE Early Learning Division becomes the Department of Early Learning and Care on January 1, 2023. Planning continues. Projects: M365 Enterprise Project ODE completed the move to @ode.oregon.gov starting in December State Data Center - Planning continues. SDC must approve the ODE plan by March 31. ODE IT Core Processes Project Project to identify, inventory and build-in sustainability to our core processes

  5. CIO Update ODE completed the Secretary of State audit of ODE web applications in November 2021 ODE is now undergoing a Cybersecurity Assessment by Enterprise Information Services based on the CIS controls 1-6. DAS is extending the Verizon Hot Spot contract Next Meeting is April 15, 2022 9-12pm
