That rock that was smote in the wilderness was still there. Hallelujah! I tell you, that rock still lays here tonight too. Just start digging and see if the trenches don't fill up. Get all of the world out of the way. Get them old picture shows and hoe-downs and things you been tending to, all those other things, throw it out. Let the waters come in. Give God first place. Amen. The mastery of atmosphere in movies controls how a person feels while watching a movie, whether it be a creeping dread pulling down on the viewer or an exhilarating energy that makes the viewer feel like they can fly. This is one of the most important aspects of a movie and subconsciously enhances any experience by immersing its audience in the world and story of the movie.
What is Tone in Movies? Tone describes the atmosphere, or emotional land- scape, of the characters in the movie, mood describes how the audience feels about the movie. The atmosphere of a film is a key element in the audience s experience of it. Take for example, in a war film, despite the scenes of violence and danger, it may still be able to show the self- sacrifice and heroism found in times of war. On the other hand, in Dunkirk, another movie about war, while there are moments of heroism and sacrifice, the overall tone of the movie is desolate.
The moodof a movie is how you feel while youre watching it: frightened, at the edge of your seat, or falling in love along with the protagonist. The mood is created by specific choices a filmmaker utilizes in the film s production, such as color and lighting. The Nazis looked at cinema as a medium for controlling the opinion of the masses. The Nazis were adept at using the propa- gandist power of cinema as a means to achieve their political ambitions.

But our home is above; we seek a city to come whose builder and maker is God.

57-0915 | Hebrews, Chapter Six & Seven 23 American people through television, and picture-shows, have seen so much of the put-on, till they become put-ons themselves. Too bad. And we get it in church: actors. God don't want it. Far be it from us to be actors. Be yourself. I despise seeing someone trying to do something that they cannot do. I've noticed it many times. And beautiful voices that God has given to people, a talent, and they over-train it. I hate to hear an over-trained voice, when they sing, get a note they hold so long till they get blue in the face, just to show the congregation how long they can hang on for dear life. And when they come back down, them people's not praising God; their mind's on their note.
58-0228THY.LOVING.KINDNESS 32 What happened to all the Pentecostal women and their long hair ? What happened? You got to looking too much at television. You got to impersonating some movie star, married four or five times, living with three or four husbands. Aren't you ashamed to quench that thirst after such scallywags and prostitutes as that, and leave God's Holy Spirit grieved away from you?
64-0121 TOTAL.SEPARATION 32 It is a total separation. We're not to go back into the world no more, or have anything to do with the world, but cleave only unto God. Jesus is coming after a Bride, a Woman that's separated from the things of the world, or the cares of the world. She is separated from the fashions of this modern age that we live in She is separated only to God, and God is the Word. And as husband and wife is one, so does the Bride and the Word become One, for the Word is living through the Bride. That's her credentials, her identification.

But God, in the spiritual achievement, is going forward, not going backward looking into the Word, believing the promises for things that never has come yet, for the spiritual revelations to manifest the spiritual things that God has promised. He sees them come to pass. Just as the scientist in his laboratory are working on different things to help man, taking creation; the spiritual man is looking forward to something that God promised, that has never yet been created. 59-0614 BALM.IN.GILEAD 16 Someone said to me not long ago, "Billy, I would love to be a Christian, but I had a habit that I inherited it from my father. That habit is playing cards, gambling. It's worse than any other habit. I just have to play cards." Well, you don't have to be a slave to it. There is a Balm in Gilead, a Balm in Christ. There's a cure for it. You don't have to drink.
