  2. Drifting (2:1) Symptoms of Disease: Neglect (2:3) Letting go (3:6, 14) No Fear of God (4:1) Hebrews 5:11

  3. Dull of Hearing Slow, sluggish, no zeal, no urgency. Diligent versus sluggish (dull). (Hebrews 6:11-12) Diligence is a zeal that moves one speedily to do the will of God. (Ephesians 4:3; Galatians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 8:7; 2 Peter 1:5)

Dull of Hearing No urgency in using TIME to develop SPIRITUALLY by reason of time (Hebrews 5:11, 3:12-13) Deprives the church of TEACHERS, ye ought to be teachers (2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Peter 3:15) Deprives the church of ELDERS. (1 Timothy 3:1) Titus 1:10-11, For there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre s sake.

  5. Dull of Hearing No urgency in using TIME to develop SPIRITUALLY by reason of time (Hebrews 5:11; 3:12-13) Deprives the church of TEACHERS, ye ought to be teachers. (2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Peter 3:15) Deprives the church of ELDERS. (1 Timothy 3:1) Titus 1:10-11 Leads to FALLING AWAY (Hebrews 6:5-6; 10:31)

  6. Dull of Hearing Remedy Be urgent in using our time to mature spiritually: babe to full-grown men. (Hebrews 5:13-14) Be urgent in exercising the senses to discern good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14; John 7:24) Long for, taste, and savor the faithful word of God as a babe. (1 Peter 2:2-3; Psalms 34:8)
