The Agro-processing Support Programmes offer financial incentives for agri-processing businesses in South Africa. The dti's Agro-Processing Support Scheme (APSS) provides financing with grants based on specific criteria. Requirements include BEE compliance, sourcing inputs from local suppliers, and a minimum investment size. Funds can be used for equipment, machinery, vehicles, and buildings, with payments due 6 months after approval. For full details and application guidelines, refer to the official websites.
