  2. HOUSEHOLDS OVERVIEW Most Florida households own their homes, but renting is on the rise. Households by Owner/Renter Status, Florida, 2000-2015 Owner households peaked in 2005, then fell in following years. Net change, 2000-2015: +7% Renters grew steadily. Net change, 2000-2015: +42%.
