PAN-CANADIAN FRAMEWORK ON CLEAN GROWTH & CLIMATE CHANGE is our plan developed with the provinces and territories and in consultation with Indigenous Peoples to meet our emissions reduction targets, grow the economy, and build resilience to a changing climate. Our plan includes a pan-Canadian approach to pricing carbon pollution, and measures to achieve reductions across all sectors of the economy. It aims to drive innovation and growth by increasing technology development and adoption to ensure Canadian businesses are competitive in the global low- carbon economy. It also includes actions to advance climate change adaptation and build resilience to climate impacts across the country. Reflections on PCFIO s Culture Three qualities/principles that help define what we are about: We support each other We stay true to who we are We are about empowering smart, strategic and knowledgeable public servants. We doodle and make jokes. We make time to eat lunch together. We get stuff done We help our colleagues who need help because they need help. We do what needs to be done because it needs to be done. Many of us are weirdly pro unicorn. We want everyone to speak up, whether it is to add relevant information, correct a misunderstanding, or to disagree. We are not about rigid job descriptions or silo d org structures. We will employ Stabby the unicorn to make you smile. We are all a little weird in our own special ways and no one cares. We are about efficiency and results, not process for process sake. We are not about hierarchy. We are approachable. We are problem solvers and preventers. We are accepting. We make time and share information. We make this a fun place to spend time. We fight the fires that need fighting. We give heads up without being told to. We are committed to making the right decisions, which means having the right info and the right people at the table. We are straight with one another. We give people the benefit of the doubt when we know they are trying their best. We earn respect and responsibilities. We think ahead, we look at things from multiple angles, and we propose options to get stuff done the right way. We do what is right because it s the right thing to do even when it means helping someone find new opportunities. We do not give up in the face of obstacles. We are true colleagues. 5
