Paraphilic Disorders Frotteuristic Disorder- Over a period of 6 months, recurrent and intense sexual arousal from touching or rubbing against a nonconsenting person, as manifested by fantasies, urges, or behaviors. The person has acted on these sexual urges with a nonconsenting person or the urges or fantasies cause clinically significant distress or impairment Fetishistic Disorder- Over 6 months, recurrent and intense arousal form the use of nonliving objects or highly specific focus on nongenital body parts; cause significant distress or impairment, not limited to articles of clothing used in cross-dressing or devices used for tactile genital stimulation

Voyeuristic-6 months arousal from observing an unsuspecting person who is naked, disrobing, or engaging in sexual activity; has acted on these urges with nonconsenting person or cause cl sig distress/impair; at least 18 years of age Exhibitionistic- 6 months, arousal from exposure of genitals to an unsuspecting person; acted on urges with nonconsenting person or they cause cl sig dis/impair Transvestic Disorder- 6 months arousal from cross-dressing, cause clin sig distress/impair (focus on clothing itself- specifier of fetishism; focus on thoughts or images of oneself as a female- specifier of autogynephilia)

  4. Cont. Sexual Sadism- 6 months arousal from psychological or physical suffering of another person; acted on urges with nonconsenting person or cause cl sig dis/impair Sexual Masochism- 6 months arousal from act of being humiliated, beaten, bound, or made to suffer; cause clinically sig dis/impair Pedophilic Disorder- 6 months arousal form activity with prepubescent child or children (13 years or younger); acted on these urges or cause distress/impair; individual is at least 16 or at least 5 years older than child

Gender Dysphoria In children- marked incongruence between one s experience express gender and assigned gender; 6 months duration; 6 of the following: desire to be other gender, cross dressing, cross-gender roles in play, strong preference for toys etc typically used by other gender, preference for playmates of other gender, rejection of gender congruent toys etc, dislike of ones anatomy, desire for sex characteristics or other gender; cli sig distress/impair In adults- marked incongruence between one s experience express gender and assigned gender; 6 months duration; 2 of the following: incongruence between experienced and traits, desire to be rid of ones characteristics, desire for characteristics of other gender, desire to be other gender, conviction that one has the typical feelings/reactions of other gender; clin sig distr/impair
