Marie Skodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchange 2025 - Call website: here What is supported ? Short-term international and inter-sectoral exchanges of staff members involved in research and innovation activities of participating organisations What is funded ? Top-up allowances for exchanges based on secondments (2710 Euro/month) Research, training and networking activities (1300 Euro/month) Management and indirect costs (1000 Euro/month) [Up to 4 years; 1.8 Mill. Euro] Only Horizon countries can receive budget Which are the main objectives of the call ? Develop sustainable collaborative projects between academic and non-academic sectors, in Europe and beyond Promote international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility of R&I staff leading to knowledge transfer Improve staff skills and career development perspectives, and R&I capacities of participating organisations. Which are the eligible secondments ? Must be from 1 to 12 month (minimum of 30 days continuously) May be split into several stays with one or several beneficiaries or associated partners Must be between different countries, primarily between Africa and Europe. Which is the eligible staff ? Researchers (any career stage), administrative, technical or managerial staff involved in R&I activities PhD candidates eligible, if they are staff member
PartiCIVIS Participatory research-to-action facilitating transformation and social innovation in African-European perspectives PartiCIVIS abstract here In a nutshell MSCA SE programme (proposal) involving all 17 CIVIS universities and CIVIS Association to promote research and innovation (R&I) on societal challenges through the application of participatory research directly involving various stakeholders and actors in the knowledge generation. Main objectives: (translating into three core methodological workpackages WP 2 WP 4, see below) : (1) investigate the effectiveness of participatory tools and methods reflecting key societal challenges under an African-European strategic perspective; (2) foster evidence-based reasoning for the facilitating role of participatory research to drive social innovation; (3) develop a methodological toolkit based on glocal use cases to enhance civic engagement and effective third mission activities of the Universities involved.
Target groups of the PartiCIVIS proposal Researchers (doctoral, post-doctoral and senior) who carry out participatory research projects by: Using participatory research approaches in their field of research Studying participatory research as a field of research. Administrators involved in the civic engagement platforms (Open Labs, ...) Inclusion of existing research/civic engagement networks in CIVIS possible and desirable!
Timeline [Late 2024/25 : preparation for previous MSCA SE Call, submission postponed] ---- 28 March : new MSCA SE call published 30 April, info-session 1 31 May : Registration of (renewed) interest to participate (online form) 1 June 31 July: Match-making/confirmation for secondments Work Package based workshops of participants on joint sub-tasks/activities 15 September : Proposal draft completed (followed by proof-reading, editing) 8 October : Deadline for submission
