KA220 proposals under 2022 call / round 1 KA220 proposals under 2022 call / round 1 ACTIVITIES TYPICALLY CARRIED OUT BY PARTNERSHIPS FOR COOPERATION [Partnerships for Cooperation->Cooperation Partnerships]: [Broad scope of activities [traditional, creative] organisations have the flexibility to include the activities allowing to achieve the objectives / goals of the project]. Applicants must split the project activities in work packages Project management [organisational and administrative tasks, virtual meetings, preparation of communication materials, preparation and follow-up of participants taking part in activities] Implementation activities [networking events, meetings, working sessions to exchange practices and to develop results, the participation of staff and learners it should be justified that their participation contributes to the achievement of project objectives] Sharing and promotion activities [conferences, information sessions, promotional events, explaining and promoting the results of the project in the form of results, conclusions, good practices] To be considered for funding the project must address at least one horizontal priority & / or at least one specific priority relevant to the field of education [ ] that is mostly impacted The same consortium of partners can submit only one application and to one Agency only per deadline

In 2022, partnerships for cooperation must address one or more of the following In 2022, partnerships for cooperation must address one or more of the following priority areas: priority areas: Inclusion and diversity [=also a horizontal aspect] Environment and fight against climate change [=relevant to the Environmental sustainability horizontal aspect] Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity [=relevant to Digital dimension horizontal aspect] Common values, civic engagement and participation SECTOR SPECIFIC PRIORITIES [Higher Education]: Priority to actions meeting the objectives of the European Education Area - Promoting inter-connected higher education systems - Stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices - Developing STEM/STEAM in higher education, in particular women participation in STEM - Rewarding excellence in learning, teaching and skills development - Building inclusive higher education systems - Supporting digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector Horizontal aspects: Environmental sustainability / Inclusion and Diversity / Digital dimension

Cooperation Partnership project: Cooperation Partnership project: [1] Planning (project s needs, objectives, learning outcomes, activity formats, schedule etc.); [2] Preparation (planning of the activities, development of work programme, practical arrangements, confirmation of the target group(s) of envisaged activities, set up of agreements with partners etc.) [3] Implementation of activities; [4] Follow-up (evaluation of the activities and their impact at different levels, sharing and use of the project's results). project methodology [clear distribution of tasks and the financial arrangements among partners, a detailed timeline with the main deliverables/results, the monitoring and control system, the tools to ensure a timely implementation of the project activities] / identification of needs / quality assurance mechanism / evaluation strategy The project description: distinction between project management and work packages for implementation. Maximum of 5 work packages is recommended, including the one on project management. The project management work package covers the horizontal activities necessary for the implementation of the project [monitoring, coordination, communication, evaluation and risk management] - maximum 20% of the total budget to be allocated for PM

Funding rules Funding rules new mechanism new mechanism lump sum The applicant must declare the lump sum in the application [120K / 250K / 400K] Proposals must describe the activities that applicants commit to carry out with the lump sum amount requested and must satisfy the principles of economy, efficiency and effectiveness The choice of the lump sum based on the applicant s own estimate for the overall cost of the project. [ ] applicants must choose the single lump sum amount that suits best their needs while ensuring an efficient use of the funds and the respect of the co-financing principle [i.e., project budgets are expected to be complemented with other funding sources, therefore the expected overall cost of the project shall be higher than the fixed lump sum amount requested]. The adequacy of the number, scope and complexity of the proposed project activities to the amount requested, and their relevance for the project objectives, will be important elements of the quality assessment, in line with the award criteria the higher the amount requested, the more the project methodology will be expected to be accurate and comprehensive. lump sum
