  2. My Career Goal I want to become a Family Physician by 2027 To get there, I will need to: Graduate high school by June 2023 Apply to Med school Get some volunteer before graduation Raise all my grade to minimum of 90% before graduation

  3. My Career Goal Statement By June 2027, I want to become a Family Physician by graduating UBC, got tons of volunteer experiences, and get my degree of medicine.

  4. What is a Family Physician? Family Physician diagnose and treat the diseases, physiological disorders, and injuries of patients. For example, examining patient, ordering laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnose procedures, and consulting with other medical practitioner to elevates patient s physical and mental health

  5. About my future career Family Physician mostly work in private offices and clinics, often with small staff team. Provincial average 49 hours per week

  6. My job has a 2.1% chance of becoming automated Family Physician won t be automated due to two reasons. 1. Physician can t be outdone by robot, its reality. Physician require years of learning and experiences and skill where robot don t have. 2. Robot can t think like human, if we encounter something unusual like a new disease, we will try to think of a way to counter it, robot can t do that they only follow scripts and do what they told.

  11. Safety in the Workplace In this career, I need to: I need to understand my right as a young worker. I need to observes and list out any potential hazard within the workplace. I need to avoid interacting with hazard as least as I can. I need to always record all important information about my work. I need to keep record of my work hours and pay checks.

  12. This is what appeals to me with this career Good hours and high income. I want to know more about human body and how to cure someone. Being proud of what I accomplished.

  13. These are some things I find less appealing about this career THE AMOUNT OF STRESS AND KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE TO STUDY. LONG YEARS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCES.

Potential obstacles to getting this career The possible obstacles: Grades Bad study habits English Funds My plan to overcome them: The only way to have good grade is to study I have to fix up my lazy habit and gaming habit, make myself more interest in studying. I really need to communicate more and learn more words Job and student loan

Potential obstacles to being successful within this career The possible obstacles: My endurances Other family physician My plan to overcome them: I don t think it will be too big of obstacles since I have to increase my endurances during the training anyways. I have to become a better family physician than other through knowledge and passion and confident about my treatment.

  16. A bachelors degree of science, graduation from med school Two to three years of family medicine residency training The training/education required for my career is Completion of qualifying examination of the Medical Council of Canada Licensing by the provincial authority

I chose this institution because Lower Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) average requirement than in the states UBC is known for its program and ranking in the world I chose this because it is the 2nd best Med School in Canada and it is the nearest one near my home that has the best ranking.

  22. ($20,000 + $4,600) x 4 = $78,400 Financial Plan - Tuition I am going to pay for my program: Family, Scholarship, Grant, anything I can get my hands on. Part-time jobs if I have to. Be one of the best student in the program since they can t expel the best student in it, can they?

  24. Family Physicians are awesome!!! What make this career very exciting is that I can meet new people everyday, I m able to understand illness and ways and advice to treat them, and it has good money and no unexpected work hours.
