Patient Decision Aids for Acne and Psoriasis
Patient Decision Aids developed by a team of dermatologists aim to inform patients about treatment options and facilitate shared decision-making with physicians. These aids provide comprehensive information, elicit patient preferences, and reduce decisional conflict in managing acne and psoriasis. Pilot findings show increased patient knowledge and reduced conflict while helping patients make informed treatment choices.
