How Students Access HIPAA 101 Training in KnowBe4 Rowan s Division of Information Resources & Technology with the Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity (OCCI) provides HIPAA Compliance 101 training for medical students through our vendor KnowBe4. Students will receive an email with the subject line "Required Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Compliance 101 when the training has been assigned. The email will include instructions on how to complete the assigned training. Log into KnowBe4 1. Visit go.rowan.edu/securitytraining. This will bring you to KnowBe4 for your training. 2. Enter your Rowan email address (username@students.rowan.edu) and click Next 3. After logging in, allow pop-ups in your browser, and your training will begin on a new window. Do NOT close the training or home windows until you have completed the training. 4. Make sure everything on your current slide is completed to advance. 5. After you pass the final quiz, the course is completed, and you will receive an email confirming you completed the training. 6. Return to the home screen, click on Training on the top left of your screen. 7. Click Download Certificate next to the training course that you completed. Office of Compliance & Corporate Integrity
